I asked Jacqui to support 2 of my senior managers with her re-contracting coaching. I wanted her to help them rediscover their purpose in their work and re-engage in a considered and purposeful way. We achieved this in spades as both recommitted to working smarter and engaging with stakeholders in a more purposeful way. I believe their work satisfaction has increased and their ability to deal with setbacks is significantly improved. All in all, this coaching clearly supports work and personal resilience.
Yes I recently went through the Black Crayon Recontacting course. A very positive experience. With Jacqui's guidance we explored the purpose and focus of my professional role and how I can find purpose and meaning in future. Jacqui provides a confident and understanding lead in these conversations, giving me the confidence to explore my strengths and how these best align to my goals. I came away from the experience with renewed perspective and confidence.2anonymousI asked Jacqui to support 2 of my senior managers with her re-contracting coaching. Working with Jacqui opened my eyes to a new, sustainable way of coaching. As an empath, I have often found my work as a one-on-one music teacher exhausting and overwhelming, finding myself unable to distinguish where I end and a client begins.
Jacqui helped me discover how I can empower people to tap into their creativity without giving too much of myself and my power away; helping them find their own ‘gold’ within. Jacqui also guided me to discover how my various roles as a freelancer - musician, performer, choir director, coach, composer, and arranger – feed into one another and how I can enhance my business by being aware of this vast creative ecosystem. Deep diving into the discovery of my personal strengths and unique advantages, as well as figuring out exactly who my clients are and what they need, has made me feel so much more confident about how I can work effectively as a creative coach.
I owe all of this to Jacqui and her exceptional guidance and support. I absolutely can’t wait to start the next chapter!
I spent 3 months being coached by Jacqui as I went through a significant and scary period of transition. The change was both professional and deeply personal, as it involved rebuilding my entire approach to work from the ground up. I can’t imagine there being a better companion on this nebulous journey than Jacqui. From a coach you expect insightful feedback, guidance, and prompting, and Jacqui certainly delivers here. What separates Jacqui from other coaches is that her advice is deeply and immediately practical, and often (if not always) the result of her direct experience wrestling with the very same tricky questions. She lives and breathes personal and professional change, and has built a long and distinguished career leading this with individuals and with organisations. Just as importantly: Jacqui is fun, really listens, and invests herself into your development and success. Because of Jacqui’s coaching I’ve been able to build a far more sophisticated and coherent approach to both work and to life, and I will recommend her at every chance I get!

Carmenza’s ASX20 organisation required a company-wide customer strategy to bring greater alignment to a number of separate business units. As the senior Customer Strategist for the Group, Carmenza was way out in Black Crayon territory with a diverse set of stakeholders watching on.
Through some honest and engaging conversations, Carmenza worked on creating new opportunities for collaboration and co-design, rediscovering an artistic talent she hadn’t utilised since her school days. Carmenza transferred her concepts from draft Powerpoint decks to a storyboard approach adopting visualisation and narrative building techniques to engage others in the process – hugely compelling when used in combination with her own energising signature style.
Carmenza successfully led the co-development of the One Customer strategy. Her approach revealed a new set of creative skills and helped develop a more collaborative outcome.
"Jacqui's coaching opened up my mind to new innovative ways of solving problems. The new approach unleashed my inner creativity, helped develop a more robust strategy and drove a more collaborative process with key stakeholders. Not only has Jacqui helped me become a stronger thought leader but she has also helped me become a more collaborative leader."

HSC & Company was established to facilitate new ways for the government to integrate philanthropic capital and corporate donations to match taxpayer funds to address social issues including health, poverty and education. Purpose and intent were hard-wired into this business while it was still just an enormous and ambiguous aspiration to create social value.
Success relied on the ability of the Founder to actively engage with senior business leaders who were also philanthropic leaders to pitch the model to the relevant Senators. Supported with some powerful conversations, self-reflection and an extraordinary growth mindset, the Founder discovered a whole new level of his own unique brand and influence working in this space.
In less than three months the HSC&Co team had established and tested a successful model and went on to become trusted advisors to Senators, their policy teams, ASX20 companies and prominent family offices with generational track records in philanthropy.
“It is impossible to process high volumes of important information without help from people who you trust and share your vision. Jacqui helped turn this information into a narrative that brought a group of disparate, high-profile leaders to the table and readied them to act as a unified team. To say Jacqui was pivotal is an understatement and I hope the next opportunity to work together is just around the corner. Your first step is to share your idea with her. It’s how we created an unexpectedly good future."

Paige left the corporate world in 2013 to start her own business. Her company grew quickly, maybe a little too quickly. As a consequence, Paige found herself finishing each day doing the things that needed to be done but with little time and inspiration for future planning.
Through a series of conversations that commenced in 2015, Paige found the space and the instinct to weave the perspective of her future self and future business into the day to day running of her business. Paige affirms a deep sense of empowerment from answering her own questions and unearthing her own solutions through the course of each conversation. Her company continues to grow and expand into new services and customer segments.
“What Jacqui has fine-tuned is her ability to create a safe, provocative space. She listens with every part of her being and then strikes like a bolt of lightning with the very questions that probe the foundation, the heart and the future of the situation. Each session is an empowering reminder that I instinctively have the answers - they have just become buried under the weight of the daily grind, the burden of finances and the clock of time-dependent decision-making. Time with Jacqui feels like a session in subtraction, removing the barriers to a powerful, creative and intuitive future.”
